Botev launches a series of checks on Cypriot soil with a 1:1 draw against the elite Danish Veile. Todor Simov's boys showed character and good play, being the more active team throughout much of the fight.
⚽ First half
During the first part, the "greens" created several clean positions. In the 23rd minute, Daniel Genov took Jose Gaegos face-to-face with the goalkeeper, but the Danish guard intervened. Shortly after, the new recruit Marin Orlinov demonstrates a good save. In the 35th minute, the referee passed an apparent foul on Genov in the penalty area, refusing to give a penalty for our team.
